We saw Dr. Berman for a consult in the ER when my daughter was 3 months old. He was awful. He was dismissive and condescending. He was frustrated that he was called for the consult. When I told him that my daughter was crying in pain he said “research shows that moms cant distinguish pain cries from non-pain cries”. He said nothing was wrong. Fast forward to seeing another GI on follow up who confirmed with tests that my daughter’s esophagus was burning from reflux and she had a severe milk protein allergy. With simple treat... read more
I would highly recommend Dr. Berman. Today my husband and I took our 5yr old son who has autism to see Dr. Berman. He was very patient, attentive, and made our son feel comfortable, which isn’t easy to do. We have taken our son to a few different doctors regarding a condition that he has and no one has been helpful, they have rushed us through appointments and we left frustrated with no answers. Dr. Berman was extremely patient and walked us through everything. We had a clear understanding of his plan for our son and feel co... read more
I saw Dr. Berman from age 9-22 for Crohns diagnosis and treatment. He is such a great doctor and I miss being under is care. He never over reacted, he really tried to avoid unnessecary medical trauma on a child. But he quickly took action when things felt off. I never left feeling dismissed or unheard. I admit the first few years were rough. I don’t know if we had to establish some trust between us or someone told him to be nicer. But I have been at an adult GI doctor for a year now , and I can confidnently say Dr. Berman wa... read more
Dr. Berman is very kind. I would recommend him to others!
Great!
He is a danger to specialized children. Run far far away. My son almost died because of him. My teenage son who was of average weight lost 33lbs under his care he did nothing. He like to make jokes and that’s all he’s good for. He has put many children in danger. Please read the other reviews online and protect your children. Choose someone else
I saw Dr Berman and my 14 yr old has ulcerated colitis. His bedside manner awesome, his explanation of plan of care exceptional. He has a lot to offer other Dr.s in Dr patient communication and care. Fantastic
Because of him my son's in the hospital 35 lbs later in dangerous condition. Never helped or knew an answer. Has zero concern. Shouldn't be in practice, I done understand how he's allowed to be working he's a danger to his patients. Proceed with caution
What a poor excuse for a human being. This so-called doctor wouldn't even come near my son for fear he may catch some disease. News flash.. Autism is not contagious. However, bad reports do get around. He did not answer one question and after I gave that the hospital my review, they refused to refund my copay. Not only is he a poor doctor, he also lies. This doctor needs to have his license revoked.
