Zohur is the worst physician it's been my misfortune to deal with during a long lifetime. In a region of the nation, sad to say, served by a disproportionately high percentage of mediocre-to-poor medical doctors, Zohur is surely near the bottom of the barrel. My experiences with Dr. Jamal Zohur has been consistently disappointing. His office staff are rude, inattentive and slow. Calling the office is a miserable experience. Calling for something as simple as an update on an upcoming appointment is an incredible haste. Calls are often lost or forgotten about (I've never been put on hold for less than 15 minutes and when the secretary returns, she has forgotten who I am and what I needed.) He is always on top of everything in my charts (which are lengthy and bulky), knows the results of tests, gets reports from my other doctors, and shares info with me. Sometimes is in a hurry, but always listens--answer may not be as detailed as I had wished, but question was answered. In general, among the numerous doctors I have had, I hope to keep Dr. Zohur as my primary physician for a long time!
I find Dr. Zohur to be helpful, caring and compassionate. He is very professional and listens to what I have to say. He's head & shoulders above the last 2 doctors I've had.
Very Passive. Never wants to listen and seems to not care what the patient thinks.
