My 86 year old step Dad had emergency heart surgery. He had 90% blockage and 60% blockage on two heart valves. We took him to Baylor's Heart Hospital in Plano and Dr. Jai Varma did the surgery. He needed a stent put in. The surgery only took a few hours and my Step Dad was rolled back in his room giving us a thumbs up saying he was hungry! We are thoroughly satisfied! Their saying he should be released tomorrow! Good work doc!
Dr Varma was very thorough and was excellent at explaining everything - all the tests that I had and the significance of each. Turns out that I had a slight issue and thanks to Dr Varma it is controlled.
Dr. Jai Varma is an excellent cardiologist. He is very thorough and he takes care of his patients. He doesn't rush, and explains very clearly his patients' requirements and well being. My wife and myself are his patients.....we are relieved !! Another person I am giving a 5-star ***** to is Susan, a supervisor working at Legacy Heart Center. She is an outstanding person always ready to help. I hope more and more staff at Legacy Heart Center follow Susan's exemplary service.
I agree this office is like talking to Robots. Same with Dr Varma. At first he seemed very concerned but as time went on he became more and more distance after 5 years it was obvious he had no time. 3 minutes was probably the max time he spent at my last appointment. Next patient please. $380,000 is the average earnings for cardiologist. But no time for the patient; not for me by Dr. Varma
