I respect Dr. Rohrer so much for her kindness and smarts. If you are able to be deliver a baby with her, do!!! You are going to be treated better and followed-up on more personally than you will ever get if you choose an OB at a big hospital. LIKED: -Highly personable and gets to know you. -Cares for mother and infant as a dyad. -Offers more breastfeeding info and support than OB or pediatrician in my experience. -Will support the whole family through L&D. Invested in the experience you have. DISLIKED -Consistently running 1-2 hours late. I sensed this was not her fault, rather the volume-based system she was working within and the demand incumbent on her to see walk-ins. -Often had a student with her. Dr. Rohrer has been my doctor for over 5 years. She is amazing! She helped me through my first pregnancy while living abroad and navigating a foreign health system. When I moved back to the states she helped me through my second pregnancy and delivered my second baby. I trust her implicitly with the health of myself and my babies. I will never go back to Dr. Rohrer. She puts herself before her patients and doesn’t take the feelings or schedules of her patients into consideration. She called at the worst possible time and recommended immediate termination for my wanted pregnancy. When I had questions about my complications, her response was that I should “google it”. After I received a second opinion at a specialist, I found out an abortion was not necessary!
