The people at this practice have to be the most ignorant people I have ever witness in 23 years as a RN. They can't even answer basic questions. That is a major red flag for any practice that you are entrusting to cut you open and do surgery. I had authorization there once to be seen several years ago and because of their incompetence and disorganization it lingered there for nearly a whole year and was only seen after multiple complaints to the VA. It was horrible after surgery. He ordered tests and never contacted me after the first one. He knew I had a terrible problem with his surgery but just dropped me. I would not recommend him to anyone. His professionalism is non existent. 8 months later I am still in continued pain.

Dr. Bowling is tied as the best Doctor I have even seen in my long life. Yes he did surgery on me. He is willing to spend countless time with you and answer all you ever want to ask. He explains everything, and is downright likeable as a person. When you talk to him you are never under any stress which is common at other doctors.

It's been 19 weeks since I had knee replacement surgery with Doctor Bowling. Today I went golfing as I walked 9 holes and had 2 Birdies! Yahoo! Thank you, Dr. Bowling!

Dr. Bowling and his staff have been incredible to me. I had a poorly done hip replacement by a different surgeon and he has helped me investigate what went wrong and what we can do to make it better. He also was willing to offer his help when others wouldn’t. He is everything healthcare is supposed to be about.

Had a total knee replacement 20 months ago. Have not had a day without pain and discomfort since that day. Tried to see Dr Bowling in numerous occasions and was only allowed to see PAs even knowing I was having issues with the knee replacement. At the year anniversary of the replacement still having much pain, swelling, and mobility issues. Tried to see Bowling again and was told it would be about three months before I could. Totally satisfied with a right knee replacement two years ago and left hip five years ago. Having my left knee replaced later this summer. I have osteoarthritis in most of my joints, and Dr. B and his staff have made my life normal again. I have been to other orthopedic surgeons in this area, but they kept me dependent on drugs and cortisone much longer than I thought necessary. Dr. Bowling gets right to the problem and fixes it. Dr. Bowling is an excellent surgeon who takes time with his patients for explanations, questions or whatever that patient needs. As a result, he runs behind quite often. His two PA’s are equally as excellent. I, personally, enjoyed the transparency provided by the PA’s and the entire Bowling Orthopaedics staff and didn’t feel the need to see Dr. Bowling for every visit. Dr Bowling is an excellent surgeon and a kind, caring person. He listened to what I had to say, and was truly interested in finding the best treatment for my knee injury and pain. He also performed my husband's hip replacement surgery with the same remarkably great care and skill. I highly recommend Dr Bowling to anyone needing hip or knee care.
