I've gone through two hip surgeries (for impingement and Labral tears) and have been with the Nashville Hip Institute for almost two years. I continue to go once a week but was going at least twice a week post-surgery. The PT and front desk staff are some of the most empathetic and amazing people I've had the pleasure to meet. Whenever I am in, I witness them doing everything they can to encourage and help their patients. I'm also an assistant Self-Defense instructor (training in a combination of Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu ... read more

At 22 years old I suffered a femoral head fracture not many surgeons would have considered operating on. For my second operation I was referred to Dr. Byrd and have absolutely no complaints. His entire staff is amazing. Specifically Beth and Ken. (Seriously these 2 are literally the best thing since sliced bread). I’ll make the drive from Atlanta to see them anytime my piece of crap leg requires it. Very professionally operated practice, 10/10 would recommend. They also give out lollipops.

Very caring and more importantly, careful.

I would give them a -5 if I could. The absolutely worst practice I’ve ever dealt with. They have you arrive hours before they even open. There has never been any of our appointments where we didn’t sit in either the waiting room or the exam room for over an hour. It’s always always 2+ hours even for a checkup. The front desk is absolutely awful and some of the rudest women I’ve ever spoken with. If not for workman’s comp, we would’ve left. DON’T NOT GO HERE!

Just had my second visit with doctor and my treatment plan is taking shape. Looking forward to getting back to my exercise routine. Thankful that I didn’t hear “you’re just getting old”. Special thanks to office staff for going out of their way to return my kindle to me in a timely manner.

Went for our first visit with Dr Bryd. He is an amazing doctor! He talked us through everything we would be going through. He answered any questions we had. He made us feel at ease. He is well educated and he knows exactly what needs to be done. We felt right at home with the entire staff. They all had the same goal and that was getting him better! Couldn’t have had a better experience! 💜💜💜

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dr Ferguson is. She takes time talking with you and describing exactly what needs to be done (or not done) and acts as though you are the only patient she has to see. She does not rush and is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Although she does not perform the surgery I need, she was quick to refer me to her partner, Dr Byrd to take care of me. Would definitely recommend them to anyone with hip problems. Definitely worth my 3 hour drive!

Dr Ferguson is excellent! Such a positive physician. We are so pleased with the outcome of my husband’s hip surgery. Would (& do) recommend her if you are considering hip replacement. Thank you Dr Ferguson!
