This doctor is so good that his nurses and PT affiliate all want hm to operate on them when he retires, since they aren’t allowed to have him do it while they work together. Very kind and considerate when I freaked out a little during second hand surgery. I have recommended him to everyone I know. Be aware that there are two Dr Rawles at OrthoVirginaia in the same specialty. I recommend Gordon Rawls only.
There is also another Dr. Rawles in this practice by 2017, Dr. R. B. Rawles. Dr. J. Gordon Rawles operated on me around 2000, and I had an excellent experience with him. The result was perfect too. Guess everyone is different.
I had seen another Orthopedist in this practice, and have been extremely pleased with him. I needed to see a "hand" doctor, though, so I chose Dr. Rawles, because he was in the same practice location as my other ortho doc. I was admittedly about 3 min late for my appointment, but waited well over an hour before I saw the doctor. That wouldn't be a problem, however, if the rest of my experience with him weren't so awful.
