Back when the hospital failed to see an issue, he guided my mother and sister during a very difficult time with my care. I have been a patient for over 23 years and appreciate his care immensely. So much so my mother is now also a patient of his. The office staff and sleep lab are also high quality. Dr. Iyer was very helpful and letting me know how my sleep apnea is doing. He explained my results with me like a real person and not just another patient.
Visit was overall good, short wait in the waiting area, followed by short wait time in examining room. Doctor listened to what i had to say, and was very good at explaining the test results, and what if anything could be done to make my lungs better....
I’ve only seen Dr Iyer twice and he’s already given me answers from tests that he ordered. He’s so easy to talk to, and explains everything. Feel like we knew him for years. Highly recommend him!
Dr. Iyer was extremely rude to my mother and walked out of the room while she was trying to ask him questions while she was bedridden with Covid-19.
I spent nearly three hours in his office waiting for the appointment and then meeting with him. He is arrogant. He did not bother to read my chart to find out that I am limited in antibiotics because of allergies and an autoimmune disorder and the first two things he prescribed went against both. I would not want to be lying in an emergency room praying to God that he is not the man on call.
I truly like the Doctor but the office staff is horrible. I had a payment issue and was reported to the credit bureau. I tracked down the problem, a previous Dr. had not put my $187.00 payment toward my deductible. I was reported to the credit bureau so I paid the $187.00. 4 mos later i am still listed unpaid with credit bureau. C D contacted them, office denied payment, told me I had to contact a collection agency, but I paid them directly. Still showing 100 pt low at credit bureau.
I have always trusted Dr. Iyer with my conditions. The conditions I've had are Gram Negative Pneumonia, Aspiration Pneumonia, and a blood clot that had turned into a Pulmonary Embolism.
Had a fun app. Laughed so many times the 45 minutes flew by. Sorry I did not see dr. I yet to tell him I lost 5 lbs
