Love her!!! She listens, she cares, she makes decisions and she acts on them. No delays, no nonsense.
Doctor Rawinis is very good at what she does. She know much about sleep Apnea and makes you feel at ease when she speaks to you! I would recommend her!
Dr. Rawinis is an extremely knowledgeable, in addition to being kind , warm and a good listener. She is very patient, and I never felt afraid to tell her my concerns. She has a sense of what you need and works with you to feel comfortable.
Dr. Rawinis was my father's pulmonologist during the last few years of his long battle with emphysema. My dad raved about her. In addition to being medically knowledgeable, and helping him to best manage his symptoms... Out of his many physicians, he said that he felt that she was the one who never gave up on him, who always listened to him patiently and completely, who never rushed him, and who showed him incredible warmth and kindness.
I have had the pleasure with working with Dr. Rawinis for almost two years now since moving from NYC. The way she practices medicine for me is that she blends old school and new school. What I mean by old school, she actually listens to what you have to say, and will answer any question you need to ask without feeling rushed. When I say new school, it is clear that she keeps up to date on the newest trends and treatments, and knows about the newest treatment methods and technology.
My father was hospitalized for a month last summer, he is 90 years old. After he came out of the hospital he needed a pulmonologist and after searching for physicians I made an appointment with Dr. Rawinis for him. She is absolutely wonderful. She has a wonderful demeanor and is extremely friendly and warm and you know she cares. During the consultation she explains everything thoroughly and makes sure my father and I understand and have had all questions answered before leaving her office.
Been a patient of Dr Rawinis for many years. I would not go to anyone else. She is one of the most thoughtful, attentive, warm and careing Doctor I've ever been to. She does not rush and spends as much time needed.
I had been a patient of Dr. Rawinis for about 10 years and recently hadn't seen her in nearly 4 years. I had a problem that I thought fell under her specialty and called the office. After explaining the problem, I got an immediate appointment; she treated me with professionalism and was able to get me scheduled for needed tests. I feel that she saved my life.
I recently moves to NY. So far I have not been very impressed with the physicians I've encountered, However, Dr Rawins is the exception. Knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, approachable, genuine, and has a sense of humor. She's like talking too a regular lesson, but knows how to make you feel better. I have recommended her to many people. Definite glad I see her for my asthma!!
