I first saw Dr. "A" back in 2019. He was INCREDIBLE. You shouldn't have to be grateful that you have a doctor who you feel like takes the time to listen to you but that's how I felt with Dr. "A" -- after having seen several doctors for my particular health complication. I returned to see Dr. "A" a few weeks ago and I met the exact same person. A doctor who listens, is compassionate, and patiently explains health facts that give you information to make an informed decision. I highly recommend Dr. Aksentijevich.

You simply do not tell a patient without a family: "You got cancer because you don't have any children." I just kept looking at him... And then he added: "Of course, there are other factors that could have contributed..." I also sent additional questions to his assistant and never received a reply. Won't be coming back.

Dr. A was such a breath of fresh air! He took the time to listen, understand my concerns, and treated me with kindness as he took the time to explain everything to me. He has an excellent bedside manner. I felt at ease the moment I started talking with him. Although I was referred to him for an issue that isn't nearly as complex and serious as he normally sees, he didn't minimize my issue or make me feel like I shouldn't be there. Dr. Aksentijevich is a caring and attentive physician who has made me feel comfortable and at ease since my first visit with him. He is very knowledgeable and so thorough. He took time to explain things and answer all our questions. It was very easy to talk to Dr. Aksentijevich. He knew the best course of treatment for my situation and offered options if they were available. I would highly recommend Dr. Aksentijevich to anyone. We appreciate all his help and support!

Very disappointed with 2nd office visit. I was scheduled with Dr Aksentijevich again because I had not seen Dr Ninan in over 2 years. I waited patiently longer than I should have for the doctor. Dr Aksentijevich did not go over specific lab results or give any recommendations for treatment. He said he was not familiar with my past diagnosis. I have been a patient of Dr. A’s for approximately 10 years after being diagnosed with CLL. He is the absolute best and provides the best care at all times. Highly recommend!

Most people who have as an aggressive case of cancer as I did live only a year or two longer after diagnosis. It was my good fortune that Dr Ivan Aksentijevich managed the treatment of my case because today I am completely free of cancer. He shepherded me through my ordeal with the greatest care, with cutting edge medical knowledge, and with incomparable concern for my well being and survival. In my opinion, Dr Aksentijevich is among the very best oncologists anywhere
