Clean, organized, professional and personable staff. Arraigning for a new patient appointment and explaining the required application and paperwork the verbal instructions were clear and all my questions were fully explained. As for Dr. Aksentijevich all of the above and more are no more than 5 stars, I will say he is the best.

I have been under Dr. Aksentijevich's care now for almost two years. I have the highest respect for him. He looks you right in the eye when he is speaking and has an exceptionally kind manner -- a trait that is declining in the modern healthcare industry. I feel confident that I am getting the very best care and Dr. A and his really wonderful staff are taking very good care of me.

I had only a positive opinion of the specialists at Virginia Cancer Specialists! Dr. A was very positive about my surgical outcome. I highly recommend this group of Doctors.

I am extremely grateful and satisfied with his judgement, attentiveness and professionalism. I am doing well under his care and follow his recommendations to maintain my health which is MUCH better. The office staff works seamlessly from scheduling, labs, and procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Aksentievich and team.

My daughter recommended Dr. Ivan Aksentijevich once I received my cancer diagnoses and I initially traveled from Silver Spring, MD to Alexandria, VA. My experience was so excellent that I moved to Alexandria, VA to be closer to the doctor's office, as the commute became to much for me. I highly recommend Dr. Ivan Aksentijevich and his staff.

Dr A is literally saving my life. After my primary care doc wouldn't adequately treat my condition, I consulted Dr. A about it along with discussing the proper treatment route. He was 100% on board with being more pro-active in treating my condition. Most important, listened to me and he understood my goals with pro-active treatment. DrA was obviously very busy on the day of my most recent appointment with him. Yet, he took a significant amount of time to answer questions and explain things that I felt I needed to know. In doing so, he gained my respect. I feel that he cares about the physical and emotional needs of his patients.
