I have been a patient for at least 15 yrs, he is great and caring . He listens and that's a big plus!
Long wait, barely any conversation after going over health history. No “possibilities” of what is going on with my symptoms. Ordered tons of blood work. Hopefully he can talk to me more about a diagnosis this coming appointment. I don’t think he took clinical notes. I felt played off and the thoroughness was markable
All of the negative comments, I can actually agree with. First scheduled appointment, labs were ordered, no health history no exam. No questions ask. A bit awkward, Second scheduled appointment I was told doctor running late. I had to go to work, I was told it was ok to later return. When I did I waited more than an hour in an exam room for a 5 minute visit. Nothing was done, Dr Akhter said he would phone in medication and get authorization for infusion therapy. He see me. Never said I needed any tests. Then refused to give me my meds. They said get the test. I go to the hospital. They said no test are set up. Then when I complained he refused to see me. Not worth you time
He's my rheumatologist.
