I’ve been seeing Dr Esparraguera for over 15 years. Even though I no longer work or live in DC, I’ve stayed with her. She is brilliant and tenacious. She is an incredible diagnostician who takes me seriously when I explain vague symptoms and will do everything in her power to make sure I stay healthy. Now that she has changed her practice, she is more accessible, spending any extra time she has on making sure she is up to speed on the latest medical news and treatments.
If you are looking for a doctor to dig down of why your body is failing Dr E is the doctor to go to. She doesn't stop until she gets answers. Compassionate and empathetic to your health, job, life and spirituality. No discrimination, she says what she means and means what she says. I love Dr E and their staff
The administrative staff for this doctor does not have the support required to handle her client base - calls are always sent to hold for several minutes and callbacks, online systems or leaving messages is not an option. This makes it very difficult to schedule or cancel appointments and settle any issues with billing. The doctor also has old school views when it comes to advice about lifestyle/diet changes - I’d recommend getting a second opinion from an RD or certified specialist.

I always love coming to the doctor now! Everytime I call or come in I’m always greeted by Erica! She is always so nice and sweet. Now onto the doctor; where to start? She always lets me explain how I’m feeling what my symptoms are, etc. and then she responds with what she thinks the best course of action and treatment is and make sure that I understand. This office is truly the reason that I have faith in doctors
