If I could review without any stars I would. My appointment with this woman was a traumatic, humiliating, and beyond ridiculous experience- to say the very least. I have been visiting Dr Cowen for a year now. Her and her team have given me fantastic care,with my health at the center of it.
Dr.Cowan and her Team are awesome!! They have worked with me for almost 4 years now.. They genuinely care, they listen to my needs and concerns.. We work together to find the best resolution for me.. I honestly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a pain management doctor!! For real pain.. She does not play games.. If you are in serious need and are serious about your pain management she is the doctor for you..
Dr. Cowan rarely sees patients, and when she does she is only in the room for under 90 seconds. She wants me to have a surgical procedure that my other specialists have deemed too dangerous for me. I believe she does not want me in her clinic because I can’t have her money making surgery which is not even done in a hospital setting, even for high risk patients. I don't know if it is Dr. Cowan or the staff that does not follow though. Which other is the guilty party doesn't matter the ball gets dropped either way. Four months I have tried to change my pharmacy. Now I have been without my medicine for three days and it is the weekend so I will be without till Monday. I have consistent pain in my lower back and can not function even with my medicine.
