Dr. Helmy saved my life. He got me through congestive heart failure and afib. He performed a catheter ablation on me successfully and is still my doctor ten years later.

Great cardiologist with a great staff. Only thing I disagree with is there a policy where you have to leave a debit card or a credit card or cash as a deposit in case you don’t show up for a specific procedure? I disagree with that 100% some people are on a fixed income and don’t have extra money to leave . My experience was I didn’t wanna leave my debit card because I’ve had identity theft and the young lady told me I’d leave cash everybody doesn’t have $100 just to leave so I just disagree with that. I've been to Dr Helmy's office twice. It's very difficult to make an appointment over the phone because of long hold times. I arrived for each appointment on time but I was forced to wait over 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time to see the doctor. Only to find out that I would not be seeing Dr Helmy but another doctor that no one bothered to inform me of ahead of time. Sadly the office staff isn't professional, efficient or caring.
The nurses are sooo helpful and sooo caring and the understanding too

Bimonthly telephones with Dr Helmy is providing me with effective (and easy to do) follow-up especially to review lab work (and other data) and adjust medication.
Over 25 years ago, I went to see Dr. Helmy for irregular heart palpitations. I underwent 2 ablations and solved the crazy episodes that would occur at any time, even while sleeping that lasted for hours. One of my worst experience lasted 4 hours during one of my pregnancies and once during labor. Today, I get an episode for 15 seconds which I get when under stress. I quickly use deep breathing & it's over. I'm grateful to Dr. Helmy who changed my life!
