My son broke his nose at school on a Thursday afternoon. I didn't take him to the doctor until Friday and Friday evening was notified of an appointment at an ear nose and throat doctor to get his nose looked at. The appointment was scheduled for Monday at the same time that I had dentist appointment scheduled for my kids at this office. My mom went out of town and was unable to help me with transportation and my husband just got out of the ICU at Vanderbilt and is currently blind and unable to drive. My son loves this dentist! He goes back all by himself for teeth cleaning or filling. Very friendly and great for kids!
My 4 year old fell and shattered a tooth. Dr. Vice removed the tooth and at the end of the procedure, my son was happy and pain-free.
Dr. Vice was great with my kids and so were his Tech's. I have changed dentist due to the poor billing from this office. I did not give consent for my children to receive a fluoride treatment (second cleaning for the year). I was not told that my children were going to be treated so to my suprise when I received my bill I had a balance of $98 because my insurance denied fluoride treatment. I called Dr. Vice's office to let them know I did not owe this amount and did not give consent bc I knew my insurance only pays for it on... read more
My six year old son is so comfortable there, the staff is great and the waiting area is so kid friendly. My son loves the aquarium and underwater room as well as the great picnic table with wonderful book choices. It's great for me because I also have a 17mo old and he is totally entertained the whole time his brother is with the Dentist.
Dr. Vice has treated both my children for routine care and on one occasion, a significant dental problem. He is very professional and brisk, but obviously cares about his patients and takes time with them and their parents. I believe he is careful to keep up with his professional skills, too. His office is attractive (without being "fancy") and well run, his helpers friendly and sharp.
