I suffered for more than nine months not realizing I chipped a bone in my foot because the first podiatrist I saw was so incompetent. Thanks to Dr. Osterman taking a few extra minutes with me, he found the real problem and literally got me back on my feet!
I've gone to Dr. Osterman many times over the years for various foot issues. He has a great bedside manner and has always been very attentive to my concerns. I highly recommend him.
I visited his office located in Silver Spring, MD 20910, twice, and during these visits, he treated me, for toes numbing, which these visits may have taken place in the early years of 2000. He helped remedied me of my toes numbing and I was more than pleased. Significantly, his staff and himself were kind, caring, and respectful. I went to see Dr. Osterman for the first and last time on November 9, 2020 for my left foot. He said he didn't believe in ultrasounds and gave me an exray, despite the fact I tild him I had a hairline fracture last year that was not detectable from an exray. I have been in very bad pain akin to my hairline fracture from last year. He told me I had very bad arthritis and wanted to give me pills for inflammation. Dr. Osterman is AWESOME! He did my first surgery 20 years ago and recently corrected a procedure done by another physician. He is a skilled surgeon with a phenomenal bedside manner. I have referred him to countless of satisfied patients. He treats you with compassion and gives ample time to discuss your problems. His silver spring office staff is great as well.

Consider yourself warned: Do not go to Dr. Osterman for a bunionectomy. I consulted him because he looked experienced on paper--don't be fooled. I expected him to refer me to an orthopedic surgeon. He said he could do the surgery himself. I have no idea how successful the surgery itself was, because for over two months I've been dealing with the consequences of his very poor post-op care.
