Dr. Takes her time to explain what she will be doing and after procedure goes over labs, history with you of your medical any questions regarding medications, procedure or anything in general. Very easy to talk to.
I have been working with Dr Chen and her staff for the past month. She has been remarkably attentive and intentional with my care and wellbeing. I would definitely recommend her. Not to mention that her lilac office restroom at the Kapiolani location is fabulous 🪻
I was actually really nervous before my appointment when I saw all these reviews. After my appointment though... I don't get it! I had a great experience. Dr. Chen sat me down in her office for new patient appt. Discussed issues and history. She gave me time to ask questions, gave me answers that were thorough. She was nice and friendly. Her staff was really sweet, too! So, idk what these people experienced. If you're going to an appointment here, don't let that star rating scare you away.

If I could give less I would. She refused to give any treatment because my PCP did not write billing codes in the referral. Everything I came in for was documented on my patient plan referral, I also spoke with her office 3 times prior to discuss what services were needed. She was rude and wanted to not go through with my exam because I was crying after speaking about the death of my 20 year olds death and frustrations to have to come in for 3 more appointments when it could have been done in one appointment.
