Holly Hamilton wanted me to take one drug that I didn’t want to take and she wanted me to do one procedure that I didn’t want to do. I followed her other instructions however, she seems to be very upset by this the Hippocratic oath which every doctor must take states that the Healthcare is the patient’s decision. She did not honor that and she blocked me from ever coming back to see her or to seeing any doctor that is in the location that she works in.
Dr Hamilton was recommended by a friend when I moved to Florida. I feel so lucky she was accepting new patients! She immediately made me feel confident that she understood my unique issues and has gone out of her way to insure I have the prescriptions, supplies and answers I needed. After years of dealing with pandemic era health care issues, I finally feel like I have a caring doctor who will be there whenever I need her. I truly don’t get how anyone likes her. zero bed side manner doesn’t listen to concerns at all looked at me maybe once during the appointment didn’t order the right imaging and then refused to change or help it afterwards. I’d rather go to no doctor than ever go to her again.
This doctor got upset with me when I didn’t agree with doing every single test and taking every single prescription that she wanted me to take. The Hippocratic oath says that it is the patient’s final decision about what she or he should do. Because I did not follow her protocol. She barred me from her office without even letting me know.
I had ONE visit/interaction with her & she left a terrible first impression. Very dismissive about suspicions I had about my health because I had made notes for the appointment. She spent all of 10 minutes in the room for the appointment all the while being demeaning & condescending. While she did give me the OBGYN referral I requested I’m fairly sure that was just a way to get out of the room as fast as possible.
