This retired RN loves Dr. Hamilton. She listens and makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you. Great doc and a real asset to the community!
After hearing good reviews, I was extremely disappointed. Didn’t have time and was on hearing and uncompassionate, the number one ingredient needed for a good doctor.
I will not return to see Dr. Hamilton in the future. She was offensive, uncaring, and conducted a very quick, incomplete examination. I'm not sure if she even glanced at the medical history form I completed. About the only positive comment I could offer is that she didn't keep me waiting long in the exam room. Maybe she warms up to patients after several visits, but I prefer doctors who demonstrate compassion and respect for all of their patients.
When searching for a Primary Care Physician I talked to the Nurses in the Emergency Room at the hospital on Amelia Island and they all recommended Dr. Hamilton who used to work there. Since then I have learned to trust her advice on my health needs. She is great with patients, has a knowledgeable and friendly team working with her and the total professionalism is great. Would recommend her to anyone.
New office, great location, Excellent Doctor, was able to get me in the same day when I was sick. They draw there own labs which is very convenient. I would recommend her to anyone. She treats all ages. She does not just throw narcotics at you like other providers, she actually tries to figure out the problem and fix it.
I have been to Dr. Hamilton's office several times over the past 2 years and she has always taken the time to listen and offer different approaches to my conditions. She is friendly and makes me comfortable when there. I have never felt rushed through and appreciate how she explains things in depth for my understanding!
Excellent doctor. Really one of the best doctors around.
Dr. Hamilton failed to follow through on referring me to a specialist. My time with her was an expensive waste of time.
