Dr Van has a wonderful manner about him and is credit to the medical profession. He answers all questions and explains all procedures.
He found what was wrong when others had not and fixed it. That was five years ago and Im still going strong.
Dr Van has been my cardiologist for many years now. His knowledge, caring and bedside manners never ceases to amazing me.
Having intense chest pains while playing Ice Hockey at the Anaheim IceRink, I was rushed to Anaheim Regional Medical Center. Dr. Baker came in the ER quickly and prepared an Angioplasty to put in a 'Drug Allured' Stent in my 'Widow Maker' main artery, which he said was blocked 99% (OMG, never knew or had signs). He explained everything to me, took away the pressure and blockage in my chest, and visited me daily to explain the type of heart attack I had, and how to manage it going forward. I always get as much time as needed. He explains everything clearly. Five years ago he detected a problem with my mitral valve that required surgery which went well. I would recommend him very highly.

He explains everything in terms a patient can understand and his demeanor and bed side manner goes above and beyond compassionate.
