I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen. I had a total hysterectomy in Oct. 2018 and had no pain and a quick recovery. I was diagnosed with cancer of the uterus and had to have follow-up radiation. That was the only part that was a challenge, but it was necessary to make sure all is clear. Again I can't say enough great things about Dr. Nguyen, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. I am cancer free and will continue under his care for the next 5 years.
The office staff is terrible. They are understaffed and disorganized. You will be on hold forever. It takes forever to get an appt, medical records transferred, and overall is just a headache to deal with. As a former Memorial employee, I can say that there are just as good as surgeons as Dr. Nguyen, that hopefully offer an easier, smoother office experience.
I was referred to Dr. Nguyen for a biopsy. My problem is with the office staff. My biopsy was done on 10/03/2018 and sent to LabCorp. However, part of this procedure was not coded and Medicare denied that portion of $169.76. Contacted Medicare and was informed coding was incomplete. I then contacted the office many, many times. Each time I was directed to voice mail and never received a return call!!! I have now received a collection notice from LabCorp. What is wrong with the office staff!!!!! He left out jobs performed during my surgery, his office staff (really SILVIA) sucks, you can’t get in to see him after surgery they won’t let you in. I had a horrible experience if I had more room to write about it I would.
Six years ago he did a partial hysterectomy on me and a tummy tuck. The hysterectomy wasn't necessary since the fibroids syc are still there on my ovary. The tummy tuck failed leaving me with a huge scare from side to side. I told him that my stitches looked very loose to me right after surgery and he said it was fine. Days later I was back in the hospital with a huge gap in my side. He then asked me why I don't go to the gym. I still have fluid in my stomach or pelvic area and constant pain.
Waiting three months for results! No one returns calls!!!
Good Afternoon, I have been a patient of Dr Ngyen for about 10 years never really had that much of a problem with his office until 12-05-2018. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. the office manger Lisa will never return your call if you have an issue. also the ladies at the front desk, skills, communication, overall horrible very nasty attitudes . this need to be fix asap. I will continue to try and get this issue resolved.
Office is horribly mismanaged. The phones seldom work or no one answers. I had a procedure done without my consent. Dr is quick to schedule surgery without looking for other options. Also, he refused to look at the imaging from my gyno.
