Her staff members were great but this doctor was Callous and unpleasant to deal with. Her lack of empathy and devoid of any ounce of compassion was a nauseating experience. She would be better suited for an auto mechanic shop vs dealing with human patients.
I found her to be disinterested, unkind, and careless. She was unresponsive to my questions and concerns, would not allow me to view my xrays or discuss MRI results. She minimized my injury, pain, and complaints. Her treatment of my injuries was formulaic, which did not work well as she underestimated them. If there had been another ankle & foot specialist available, I would have switched doctors.
I was referred to Dr. Alpert by an urgent care in NYC for a foot injury that happened while walking out of the subway station. The office was very clean, friendly staff and Dr. Alpert was able to treat my injury same day. Will definitely recommend!
Dr. Alpert helped me with a sprained ankle. I was able to get an appointment same day and start my treatment plan. I felt like she really listened and answered all my questions.
I fractured my ankle while at work in 2015. Went to see Alpert, she did a good job on the surgery i will say that but she was so nasty to me I really thought she was secretly working for my employer. I come to see her on crutches while recovering from surgery and she goes “you don’t need crutches anymore” and snatches them from my hand, i was so surprised that I didn’t even know how to respond. I had to walk out of there leaning against my friend who drove me there. I changed doctors after that.
Not happy she was very un professional to me after waiting for her a long time. No interest at all in my foot issue being resolved. DR looked at her computer most of the time suggested I get acupuncture on my foot !!!! After I went to a different specialist who suggested physical therapy and all is well now Sorry to say DR A. Very much did not show any interest and very curt to me
Very rude doctors, I start to explain what brought me in, she did no even listen me , went to the other room. She did not explain my condition, she did not answer my questions well . Not recommend, it was such a waist time

She is the rudest doctor I’ve ever met in my life. She would not allow me into the examining room with my special-needs brother. When his appointment was over, she came out into a very crowded waiting room looking for “a sister “. I told her that I am hearing impaired and that she would have to speak slowly so that I would understand her. She made no effort to make herself heard or understood. We left the office in tears.

Horrible!!! By far the worst! Heard her whole life story while waiting for her to see me. Was sitting in exam room for 45 minutes before she even came in! Then was asked to leave the room because my mask was below my nose. Comes in saying oh no , no no I’m sorry you have to leave the room it needs to be sprayed! I was like what. That’s when I said this girl is nuts! So I left. Now I’m waiting to hear about my X-ray results and the princess doctor will not be discussing my results with me.
