After 15 years at a clinic, under a doctor who ignored my issues or blamed them on me resulted in a stroke after not seriously dealing with prior TIAs, I found Dr. Kimura who worked to get me on cholesterol medications that work that my other clinic did not even suggest, who was willing to run tests to determine i had Hashimotos disease rather than just cut my Synthroid in spite of my symptoms. He said fibromyalgia is a psychiatric disorder, not a rheumatic one, and refused to prescribe medication my partner has been taking for over ten years for it. Even after telling him our next psychiatric appointment was in a month, all he gave us was a 7-day supply. He refuses to help us get a lymphedema specialist, instead saying we need to do blood and heart exams. He won't explain why he won't give referrals. He doesn't listen to us and our needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kimura's for a number of years. Early on he diagnosed a serious issue and he has continued to provide very thorough care ever since. He is the epitome of an old-time caring physician. I am honored to have him on my medical care team.
