I found a new doctor because I have had enough of his unprofessional behavior and attitude. He is rude, he does not listen, he angers easily, he spends his entire time talking into his computer mostly entering statements he attributes to me that I had not made. I look back and wonder about the benefits I received during the time I was his patient and the answer I come up with is nothing. A typical apt consisted of taking my blood pressure, and then listening to him babbling into his computer.
Upon my initial / new patient visit to Dr Heikkenen he walked into the exam room, asked me how long I had been taking Clonazepam and walked out of the room w/o any further discussion. He returned several minutes later and refusing any further conversation or explination he said that I would not be his patient and summarily dismissed me from his office.
I had such a horrible experience with Dr. Heikkenen. Please reconsider before booking with him for your own well being.
Horrible. I was interviewed even to be considered as a new patient. They said they would get back to me in a few days. I hear nothing. I call back 15 days later. They can't find my paperwork. Ten minutes later they find it, and say I was turned down as a new patient. These people are morons. Don't use this doctor.
Always helpful and listens to everything you have to say.
Made assumptions that were incorrect. As example, dictated to his computer (very loudly) that I declined cholesterol meds when in fact he had not mentioned them to me and he had been told that I already take such meds. Didn't ask me any questions and expressed annoyance at my questions.
no time for patient input- spends more time yelling at his computer than discussing patient issues.
