The worst result. I was on crutches for 4 months after surgery and then a cane for 3 years. Went back to Huddleston for pain shots and other remedies, none worked. A number of other surgeons told me to go back to him to repair it but wouldn't fix it. Finally I found another surgeon who told me he would re do it as there was obviously a problem. After 3 weeks I was back on my 2 feet, walking normally with no pain. .

Dr Huddleston is the best in the business. He can do a cortisone injection in the hip by feel only. Great bedside manner too!

I had a hip replacement in May of 2015. I awoke having no feeling in my lower leg and foot. I was told this was a common occurrence with this type of surgery. As of today I still can not move or feel my foot. I just had an EMG and was told that this is a permanent condition. I am now disabled. Of course I have no recourse. Please make sure you are aware of all the risks before opting for this surgery. Make sure Dr. Huddleston explains these risks to you, as he never did with me.

Beware of this Dr., I ended up with severe nerve loss and movement in my foot and lower leg from a hip replacement. He nicked the artery and there is a good chance this is permanent. Also have had to had several knee revisions after replacements. Should not have continued to see him, then I might still be able to walk without a brace. Was never told that this could be a side effect of a hip replacement. Make sure you know all the dangers so you can make a sound decision.
