I was impressed by Dr L's professional manner during routine colonoscopy. Referred my wife who had gallbladder issues. Then she had a routine colonoscopy and he just found 5 polyps. He is obviously a very busy and skilled doctor. I hold him in very high regard. Neither my wife nor I had the slightest issue with his personality. He's not the type to hang out with and have a beer with, I don't suppose, but he will save your life, if you think that's important. He takes enough time with you and he informs you. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATOR < DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS!
I've been a patient of this doctor for many years now, and I really never would consider going to anyone else. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, friendly, very helpful ~ overall, a very pleasant person and a doctor with great bedside manner. (I don't understand some of the negative comments here ~ are we actually rating the same person??? Wow! Incredible! I've never met a nicer doctor!)
I saw Dr Levine. He was excellent. Not a handholder, but when it comes to saving my life for a rare gallbladder disease, he is the Dr to have. He personally phoned my home at 7pm to talk about the labs, didn't want me to hear it from the nurse. Then he set up a Sat. radiology appt to speed up the process. That is a great Dr. not a sweet one!!! I won't see anyone else.
This doctor is truly a great doctor, and wonderful human being. He's the only that took his time and showed that he cares.
I am not one to usually write reviews but I felt compelled after visiting with Dr. Ruderman. I found Dr. Ruderman by recommendations on this website and several others. The staff was pleasant and actually called me before my appointment and said that someone had cancelled and that I could come in earlier if I wanted. They were very prompt about taking me in for the pre-assement. It took about 10 mins after that to see Dr. Ruderman. Dr. Ruderman could not be nicer and more knowledgeable and had a very pleasant bedside manner.... read more
Dr. Ruderman was in a medical journal I just happened to pick up at another office. The artical asked 100 docotrs for there recommendations on several different fields of medicine. Dr. Ruderman won hands down. He has been my doctor for 10 years and it has been 5 years since I last saw him. I now live out of the Orlando area and am going to drive 2 hours to go back and see him again for another new problem I am having. I have always found him to be knowledgable, kind and helpful.
I had a very unsatisfactory visit. The doc took two phone calls on his cell phone while with me. Leaving the room both times. Last time he said, "I am a very important man". That's egotistical and no excuse for not paying my case his undivided attention. He also bad mouthed my last doctor as to the Rx's he had prescribed. Overall, a waste of my time and the government's money for the visit.
I have been suffering for years with UC and Dr Levine changed my life. He is very direct, but he has been great to me. If you follow his treatment plan, he will help you. He is the best!
