Exceptional general practitioner. He listens very well. I never feel rushed. I feel valued and cared for by Dr. DeWitt. I highly recommend him to others.
Terrible. He's been my physician for at least 20 years. I keep thinking I should go somewhere else. He spends way too much time chatting with his computer, and the office staff is horrible. Today (Jan. 25, 2021) I've called 5 times to talk to someone and have waited an hour and a half online, with no resolution.
Dr. Dewitt's staff kicked me to the curb when I wasn't sick enough to visit for a couple of years.
I have been a patient of Dr. Dewitt's for approximately 9 years. He is a very good listener and takes his time during my exams. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a good doctor! My only complaint is the wait time and I think that is because he spends plenty of time with each patient.
Been accompanying my elderly mother to Dr. DeWitt for about 5 years now. I find him to be patient and thorough with my Mom. He never seems to be rushing us out the door on a 3 minute per patient time schedule like many physicians. If that means we wait a few extra minutes before seeing him, so be it. I have never found the wait to be excessive, and certainly appreciate the time he gives us in turn.
Been a patient for a year and am truly amazed by him and his staff. On my first visit he was very thorough and interested in my particular health issue. Quickly arranged consultations with specialists and problem was quickly resolved. I had been getting nowhere with my physician in Florida and found Dr Dewitt and staff to be a welcome relief. They are prompt in returning calls and calling in refills. Would recommend him to all my friends and family.
I have been a patient for a couple years now and have finally had enough. Staff is very rude, especially front desk secretaries. Dewitt hides behind his computer while diagnosing and does not provide adequate feedback during the visit. Every visit I've had has been an incredibly long wait with very little chance of getting in ASAP. Most importantly the staff does not make you feel welcome.
