I am very unhappy with this Doctor. I have Hypopituitarism with that comes Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency, Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency and Central Hypothyroidism. Today on a telehealth visit after waiting for 30 minutes for her to call me she told me that I was overmedicated thyroid wise because my TSH is low. Which would be true for normal hypothyroidism but with Central and a pituitary issue it’s not as I don’t make enough teh because it’s made in the pituitary. I absolutely do not recommend this office.I waited eight weeks for biopsy results after being told it could be cancer, with little communication and no follow-up despite multiple calls. On top of that, I clearly stated not to send anything out if my insurance did not cover it, yet my sample was still sent out and I received a very large bill. Between the lack of communication and disregard for my consent regarding testing and insurance, this was an extremely frustrating and stressful experience.
I have had so many problems with this endocrinologist office. Dr Moturi might be qualified and great, but I will never know because every appt is with an assistant. They call me from 20 minutes to 3 hours late for telehealth appts and just read me back my labs that I already looked at 2 weeks ago. They explicitly say the only thing they will say about my hashimotos is take the meds, up the dose. No discussion about anything else. The only Dr at AHN who found a treatment plan to end the Low Sodium Covid long hauler nightmare I lived with for Four Years!! God bless Dr.Moturi.
I have been seeing dr. Moturi for 20 years . She is absolutely, positivity the best dr. I have known. Always smiling very very smart I’m so glad she has stayed with me all these years. I would give her a 10 if possible
