Long time patient. She has always been very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. I'm thankful for her practice.
Dr. Lakes cares about the well being of her patients. She listens and only orders tests as necessary. I trust her with mine and my daughter's health. She gives good and very honest advise about the improvement of your health. She wants to see people live a healthy and active lifestyle.
I would never recommend Dr. Lakes or her staff. She has very poor bedside manners and will spend more time with her face in her laptop mumbling to herself than listening to her patients. She is also very difficult to get an appointment with - even if you have just been released from the hospital and need to see her for follow-up. Front desk staff is rude and wil tell you to go to the ER if you are really sick. Absolutely horrible experience. Stay far away from this office!
Extremely disappointed in this doctor. They do not return calls in a timely manner and in some cases they do not return calls at all. I had to speak with the operator just to appointment scheduled. Took a day off work only for them to change the appoint time and then cancel it hours later. They seem to not have an vested interested in the patient's health or their time. I would NOT recommend this doctor or this practice to anyone.
The most awful staff and a horrible woman. She told me when I was pregnant (very excited for my daughter, might I add) that lets hope this is the last time. So rude. The woman at the front desk must get her manners from Dr. Lakes, along with the nurses. I was also told I couldn't see her partner Dr. Ingram without consulting with Dr. Lakes first, I've never heard of such crap.
