I want to take a moment to specifically recognize Joann (front office) and Susan (Dr. Nisbeth’s nurse) at the Southbury Internal Medicine office. In a time when so many people only leave reviews to complain about staff, or solely to compliment their doctor and only their doctor, I felt it was important to acknowledge two individuals, in addition to Dr. Nisbeth herself, who were truly exceptional. I am very upset regarding the experience I had with Dr. Nisbeth. I called the doctor's office to be connected with my doctor who was on vacation. They told me only Nisbeth was working. I told them I was looking to get medication for a sinus infection. The office asked if I tested for covid. I told them "no" and that I didn't need to come to the office to do that. I had testing at home. I tested at home to find out I was positive. I called the doctor to tell them I no longer needed an appointment because I knew what my issue ... read more
