Was a great doctor till he gave 2 medications causing hives and Erythema Malforme 2, for 18 months. I told him I had problems with those medications, he chose not to listen. He Turned nasty and cold hearted and left my HHC office and me without help and he was replaced.
I had a great experience with Dr. Doerwaldt. Found him to be intelligent, interested, thoughtful, and a great listener. Explained my condition well, and gave me options. Took the time to understand my condition. I would have no hesitation in going back to him or recommending him to friends and family. I come from a medical family and have met many MD's over the course of my 70 or so years. In my opinion, he is one of the best.
i was with dr. doerwaldt when he was with a community health center in new london. when he told me he was leaving i was so disappointed . He was the best dr. i have ever had. After being left with an APRN for a few years I dicided to go back to Dr. Doerwaldt even though it was a little bit of a distance. A great dr. is so worth the extra drive.
He has all the attributes you would want in a primary care doctor. Trust him to manage all my physical health needs. Compassionate, professional and thorough. So relieved to have found him this year especially.

awful, He is arrogant ,rude and jumps to conculsions. He talked to me like I was trash and insinuated things that were not even close to the truth. He is very condescending and forms opinions that are negative.
Dr Hartmut is wonderful, straight to the point, dry humor, really appreciate his demeanor.
