Dr. Usal performed my DIEP flap surgery. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. He's a wonderful and talented surgeon!
Dr. Usal was recommended to me by friends and family. I went to him to have a breast reduction. At the first visit, we spoke about what the surgery would entail and the possible outcomes. I felt that Dr. Usal was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The surgery was performed and the outcome was exactly what he described. I was very happy with the results. The staff was also knowledgeable and informed and very helpful. I would also recommend Dr. Usal.
Dr. Usal is so intelligent, kind, caring and dedicated. He is everything you would look for in a doctor. He explained my DIEP flap sugery to me and my family step by step and answered all our questions. I was so comfortable and confident after meeting Dr. Usal. He did a fantastic job! I am a month out and feel amazing and pain free. The results are magnificent! Dr. Usal is the BEST!
i first saw Dr. Usal on a utube video explaining the diep flap procedure at a local hospital. He is very eloquently spoken. Very smart , brillant and very well spoken man and doctor. When i met Dr. Usal I was immediately comfortable and impressed about what he had to say about my prodecure. He is very warm, caring and interested on what i had to say and ask as a patient. After my surgery and my visits with him was painless and i barely needed any pain medicine after my surgery.
Researched plastic surgeons in Columbia and Sloan and none were willing to risk the surgery that Dr Usal & his team expertly accomplished:mastectomy,cancer-free,nipple/skin saving,diep flap-use of abdominal tissue to reconstruct,no muscle compromise,little pain &scarring. He welcomed questions and didn't frighten or bully me to choose a treatment. Compassion and skills are wonderful. U will NOT find surgeons like Dr Usal and his team!
We had a very scary situation going on .My husband had a soft tissue sarcoma removed from his left shoulder.After 3 surgerys,the last one reconstructive(took a muscle and tissue from his left pec,and skin from right leg) what a miracle,slowly he is excersising to get movement back.he is so happy and thankful,as am I,for Dr Usal,and Dr. Rabinowitz!!!!!
Horrible. Service is mediocre but will charge astronomical fees. Save your children's future because he will take it all from you. Got injured and since it was a weekend, headed to the ER at Valley, expecting nothing but the best of care as normal for Valley Hospital. However, that day provided a different experience than the high level of care we are accustomed to. While the hospital accommodated our need for emergency care and ER doctor and staff were attentive, we had a negative experienc
