I've really appreciated the care that American Animal Hospital has provided to my fur baby over the last 10 years or so. The vets themselves are caring and knowledgeable. However, the constant staff turnover has been frustrating. I feel like each time we've visited or called, it's always someone new that cannot answer questions or assist comprehensively. Our Maltese, Natasha, always has been taken with great care. The entire staff is amazing. Dr. Paul, Dr. Gil and Dr. Dave always explain in detail procedures.
My sweet baby is not user-friendly, but Dr. Gil and his assistant made me feel so comfortable that I could trust him. I am so happy to finally find a vet who loves cats. That is the most important thing to me.
Dr. Gill and staff are all very friendly and do a great job with Big Doug. We have been several times in the past year and he doesn't even put up a fight about getting out of the car, something he has done with every other vet after the first visit. I appreciate their ability to handle my large (140lbs), poorly trained, scaredy dog. They even cut his nails without making him cry. My cat was also unphased by his visit. They are highly competent animal handlers, good vibes and all remedies have been successful.
It is very easy to book appointment with this facility at the last minute when needed. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They provided all the options and explained in detail.
