I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of Dr. Gretchen J. Brewer & Associates. I scheduled an appointment on March 24th for September 29th, and just four days before the appointment I was informed that my insurance would not be accepted. It is unacceptable to wait six months only to be notified at the very last minute that I cannot be seen. First they only gave me 1 prescription instead of 2. When I tried to order new glasses the script for distance was plus instead of minus. I really don't have any confidence in this office.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Spent the usual time finding dr insurance covers, Made appointment online for eye exam on the LensCrafters website . I verified coverage with my Aetna preferred vision. I called office day before, confirmed appointment. I arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment. I am told that in addition to my copay I have to pay a $40 fee so they can scan my eyes rather than Dilate them.
