I had an appointment scheduled for this Thursday, I was called today for billing, just to find out my copay of $95 didn’t include the ultrasound, which was going to be ANOTHER $300, $400 each visit? Who can afford that? And not to mention, that $400 each visit doesn’t include the prenatal and postnatal, that was another $2600 so in total a whopping $5000 just to see the OB This doesn’t include labor and delivery. This doctor is too busy to spend quality time on any of his patients. If you have any concern or risk to your pregnancy, DO NOT go to him. You will not be monitored accordingly. Yes all Bakersfield Obgyn’s are packed with patients, but that’s no excuse to dismiss a woman’s concerns during pregnancy. I don’t recommend this doctor to anyone.
Dr. Klis is an amazing physician, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He recently performed my prolapse surgery, and every step of my care was a positive experience. Dr. Klis is experienced, patient, kind, caring, hardworking, trustworthy, and truly world-class in his field. Dr.Klis is great it’s his office staff that all need to be replaced it’s so obvious they don’t care about helping patients with anything they’d rather be in their phones or talking. with one another than to actual help a 33 week pregnant mother whose high risk. Fire all your staff and start over!
Klis was my OB 10+ years ago and was great. Fast forward to today, it’s basically impossible to be seen. I had my first apt January 29th to which I arrive and they tell me Klis is out doing a C Section and I can wait if I want. Yeah, not waiting for that so I reschedule. I come back today and I’m sitting in the waiting room for TWO hours just to see Klis walk out and tell his girls he’s leaving the office. Which means I can’t be seen!
