During my initial consultation, I informed them about being diagnosed with a small tear in my retina. The attending doctor, whose name I can't recall, assured me that undergoing RLE surgery would not pose any issues. During subsequent visits for pre-op and post-op, I experienced prolonged waiting times, and the tasks performed by seemingly inexperienced trainees appeared questionable. The surgery itself was stressful, as an argument erupted between the doctor and one of the assistants. Subsequently, when scheduled for a YAG ... read more

After years of glasses and contacts, I visited Dr. Parkhurst's office to see about corrective vision surgery. The procedure was quick and painless and Dr. Parkhurst did an excellent job explaining how the procedure would work and what to expect after and it went about to "t" without any hiccups. I can't give him enough praise because I don't miss fiddling with contacts or glasses or yearly appointments to get stronger glasses lenses. Do note, there are two minor things to consider: (1) Your eyes will always see direct light ... read more

Was referred to this M D and clinic, because was told he was the best in treating Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy. Had a great experience with the friendly staff and extensive evaluation but once done and saw MD, was told they don't treat Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy only cataracts. Had to be referred out to another clinic/MD specializing in Fuchs. So why does his site say he treats Fuchs. Very annoying and misleading. That needs to be corrected ASAP.

Dr. Parkhurst and staff were phenomenal! The entire experience from walking in the building, to getting my LASIK, was a breeze. I cannot believe how fast it was and then I was walking out of the building with no glasses. I get to wake up every morning and SEE. I can't thank Dr. Parkhurst enough for helping me get out of glasses and contacts! Highly recommend Parkhurst NuVision!

I paid Parkhurst NuVision $11,500 in 2022 for UNFULFILLED PROMISES of clear vision. Post-surgery I cannot read a page of a book, I cannot drive anywhere unfamiliar, and I can no longer enjoy my hobby of painting. My eyes are now extremely dry and require expensive drops all day long every day and several times nightly. Wearing eye makeup is out of the question. My eyes are now also extremely sensitive to light. I fear that my vision is permanently damaged and I’m now paying a doctor at a different practice in hopes that the ... read more

I’ve talked myself out of LASIK for years. Always came up with an excuse. Now I’m just upset with myself for not doing it sooner. The moment you walk into the building you are greeted with a smile and put at ease. Everyone is kind and very informative. My experience has been amazing and I would tell anyone to “Go, go now! Don’t wait!”

I hesitantly went for a Lasik consultation and a part of me wanted to hear that I was not a good candidate, but I was! I appreciated that the doctors took the time to answer my numerous questions to ease my anxiety and that I was not rushed to have the procedure. They wanted my eyes to be at their optimal health to ensure the speediest recovery possible. They explained what I should expect the day of, prior to and after. I am a parent that works full-time with a hectic schedule, so I appreciated the staff emailing me in adva... read more
