When I could no longer read large roadsigns on the interstate, I knew it was time for my cataracts to be checked I saw Dr. Mecoli at C.E.I. and he confirmed what I suspected. He performed cataract lens replacement surgery on both eyes in Sept-Oct ‘17. The surgery went just as smoothly as Dr. Mecoli said it would and my vision is better than expected. Dr. mecoli is a compassionate, skilled surgeon and genuinely nice person!!!
Dr. Mecoli is such a caring Dr. He takes his time with you and you never feel rushed. He really cares about his patients.

The only issue I have is that when I asked for my Rx after the exam I was told that CEI policy is that they do not give patients a prescription & that as a patient I need to make appt with a different doctor for a refraction and receive an RX at that time. To me this is time and extra expense for no reason
Dr mecoli was very informative in telling me what was being done to my eye's. he answered all of my questions. He was very nice and I would recommend him to my family.
