EXTREMELY PATIENT FRIENDLY & PASSIONATE ABOUT HAND SURGERY, ESPECIALLY THUMB OSTEOARTHRITIS. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY & ALL SUFFERERS. VERY PROFESSIONAL & PROFICIENT IN HIS FIELD. EXPLAINS WELL. ALL OTHER ORTHO PEOPLE WANTED TO DO WAS PERFORM KENALOG INJ (TO BOTH HANDS) OVER A PERIOD OF 7-9 YEARS UNTIL FINALLY DEVELOPED SIDE EFFECTS TO THE KENALOG IN 2017, REFUSED FURTHER INJ--NO ONE EVER ONCE SUGGESTED SURGERY. TALKED W/MY DENTIST (& LONG-TIME FRIEND) FOR INFO & REFERRAL-QUICK APPT
I have erosive osteoarthritis and rheumatologists told me I would have to have my thumbs fused to control the pain. Dr. Adamson said he could do Ligament Reconstruction Tendon Interposition and I would have full use of my thumbs. The surgery was explained in detail, and, though it is intricate, I fully understood it. The scars are so small, most people can't tell I had one surgery in March. This caring, amazing surgeon has changed my life; I give his card to anyone I meet who has hand problems.
Our family has had injuries that Dr. Adamson has diagnosed and followed thru with surgery that was needed and therapy. We trust him as he does not try to extend his talent into surgeries that he feels are unsafe for the patient. He has a great patient to Dr. rapport, he definitely cares. t
