We have seen Dr. Caronis for everything from a sprain to a torn ACL. No matter the severity of the injury, Dr. Caronis always takes the time to make sure we are comfortable and confident with the plan of action/treatment. His patience, knowledge, and bedside manner are superior and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

Dr. Caronis is one of the very rare physicians who combines his obvious clinical knowledge with an outstanding bedside manner. He was able to quickly diagnose my condition and patiently and thoroughly explain the necessary treatment. I felt that he truly cared about me and that he would not leave the room until all of my questions were answered. I would recommend Dr. Caronis without reservation to anyone seeking orthopedic care.
Dr. Caronis has put me back together twice. He is trustworthy, compassionate, intelligent, and skilled in surgery. I highly recommend that you see him for whatever ails you. He will help you feel better and recover fully so you can get back to your regular activities.
Dr. Caronis is very caring. He listens to you, provides excellent information relative to your condition, and doesn't rush off to get to the next patient. When I've run into him outside the office, he always asks specifically how my condition is; he saw me limping and recommended I come in for a cortisone shot. I never like to "pounch" on a doctor and get "free" consultations, so it's really thoughtful of him when he actually wants to know how I'm progressing since the last time he saw me.
Dr. Caronis guided me through 2 years of decision-making. He encouraged me to consider all options and we made decisions based on my personal circumstances and timeline, which was filled with family/work commitments...I didn't have time for surgery, let alone a long recovery! Earlier this year, Dr. Caronis performed the ankle fusion....this summer, I hiked in Acadia National Park, navigated the busy NYC sidewalks, and walked the Freedom Trail in Boston. A year ago, I couldn't walk a city block!
