Considering your valuable time when booking with Dr. Pearson. My husband and I both saw Dr. Pearson several years ago. Long wait times. My husband had a funny feeling about the staff. Regardless, my husband went back as we were established patients, and I was told that they did accept his new insurance. When he showed up the day of the appointment, they were told they had no record of the appointment and they did not accept his insurance. I have never had this happen, and take valuable time to schedule and check up on this o... read more
Dr. Pearson has a blatant disregard for his patients. I went in for a severe sore. He didn’t so much as look at it for 10 seconds. He then started rattling off prescriptions with no explanation or discussion. He also implied that I am “stupid” for not wanting to take heavy antibiotics for extremely mild hormonal acne in my late 20s. His personality is “greater than thou” and he scoffs at any question to his medical prowess. Turns out the medications he prescribed have a high risk of causing liver failure, which he never thou... read more
I went to Dr. Pearson for my three year old who has eczema, trying to make sure his breakouts were managed and he had some new looking spots and irritations I wasn’t sure about. He didn’t care to get to know us, obviously didn’t care to discuss my concerns in any detail, and it was clear that he didn’t care to spend any more time than was absolutely required of him with us because a kid with eczema isn’t a big money patient. Obviously will not be going back, but also hope this doctor can get better about listening to patient... read more
Went to Dr Pearson after my prior Dermatologist retired and my records were transferred to Memorial Herman Dermatology. Didn’t spend much time with me at all and didn’t find his work to be near as thorough as my prior Dermatologist. Will be looking for a new one for my next appointment.
Find a different dermatologist. After 45 minutes I wasn't even shown to an exam room or given information about when Dr.Pearson would see me. It was apparent no one cared if they wasted MY time. Forcing patients to wait excessively among mask wearing, possibly infected COVID-19 people is inconsiderate if not negligent. I made an appointment to see another doctor later that day.
I had the same experience for my son. He walked in, diagnosed and began to spray without warning. Flew out of the room without explaining what happens next. Unbelievable! Very disappointed.
Dr. Pearson diagnosed my basal cell carcinoma and due to it being so large, got me in right away with a physician to remove it. He is a great man who takes cars of his patients!
From the minute Dr. Pierson entered the room with his assistant, he spent no time talking with me about my concerns. Instead he looked at my nose, said it was pre-cancerous and before I could ask a question there was a hard spray on my nose which startled me. I said what are you doing and they said it was a spray for pre-cancer cells. I had other concerns but I felt that he couldn't wait to fly out the door and told him so. It was obvious he wasn't interested in answering my questions.
I had been a patient for several years. Kept regular appointments. He treated me for "pre-cancerous cells". I moved out of town and saw a new dermatologist. That doctor found "basal cell carcinoma" immediately. This is a slow-growing cancer and it was where Dr. Pearson had been treating "pre-cancerous" cells. He should have caught it when I was in his office just a couple of months before I moved. Please see a doctor that spends more than 10 minutes with you.
