Dr Lohse did surgery on my hand a few years ago and this most recent visit I needed a cortisone shot for extensor tenosynovitis. Both times he spent the time to explain to me in lay terms what the issue was the recommended treatment. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to answer questions. Dr. Lohse was thorough, direct and clear in his analysis of my problem and recommended actions going forward. I particularly enjoyed his straightforward discussion of my issues and his excellent interpersonal skills. Dr. Lohse quickly gained my confidence and trust. 8/2 was my 1st appointment w/Dr. Lohse, referred by my PCP. Much to my surprise and delight, today, 1 day after my initial visit, my trigger finger has been completely resolved. Dr Lohse was very supportive and clearly explained my needed treatment. I feel confident that he will ensure I receive the medical assistance needed for a smooth recovery.
Dr. Lohse is a wonderful doctor. He takes the time and listens to his patients. He is very thorough and explains everything in detail. I never felt rushed and he answered all of my questions and really put me at ease regarding surgery. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor.
I went to see Dr LOHSE as I was having problems with my left hand.
The break occurred on 6/19. I saw Dr Lohse 6/21. Visit with Dr Lohse was cordial and professional. I was a little disappointed that the next follow up visit was not until 8/1. Nothing in between to monitor the healing process, considering I am elderly (67) with metastatic breast cancer. Pain level is high, barely manageable. I keep my arm in the sling, except to take a shower, which my husband must help me with. I use a walker normally, just to get around. This is very difficult with only one arm functional now. Dr. Lohse is very personable and I appreciated his thorough explanation of options available to treat my finger. I opted to have an in-office injection which resolved the problem.
