I had a great experience. Understand everybody heals differently. I’ve had several replacements and a couple revisions. And I’ve had complications after surgery. I think Rib is great cuz he’s animated and direct and upbeat. I think people need that when there’sa joint replacement or revision. Cuz there’sa lot of pain and uncertainty. I started young with the joint replacement cuz I got Rheumatoid arthritis when I was a young child. So, I’ve had over 30 surgeries so far in my life. I think both of them are wonderful!
Cleared up a torn meniscus in my knee- great recovery and excited to go skiing again! Dr. Stock did a great job on my knee and I would highly recommend him.
He should have his medical licence removed. He tore the muscles in my mother's hip and damaged so many nerves and muscles that she went in limping and came out with a walker. He did a follow up surgery to correct his mistake and ended up cutting an artery that added additional damage. My mother in law went in last year and we warned her and she went anyway only to have to have 2 additional surgeries. You have been warned. Avoid this doctor at all costs.
Gordon Stock is an arrogant, sanctimonious and condescending man. He did not listen to me, did not know my medical history as he should and his sermons were not appreciated or fact based relative to me. I will not have him operate on me. There are more Drs who have a better bedside manner, listen and have better people skills as well as a Dr more concerned about people than his own self aggrandizement. Up and walking un-aided two weeks post total hip replacement. Dr.Stock has got the skill plus he’s a really nice guy. He is cheerful as can be at 6:00 AM! A huge shout-out to his PA Rob, has an incredible knowledge base and also a fun easy-going guy. With Lainey, their MA always answering my calls and puts up With all my questions. The team approach is the only way to go with such a major surgery.
