The worst pediatrician I have ever been to!!! Not only did I have to just about beg to get my child an appointment, we had to wait in the lobby for 1-1/2 hours AFTER our appointment time, even though we were early. The nurses were funny, friendly, and helpful. Then the doctor came in, told me my child has allergies, ignored me when I told her that when she runs fever, she has seizures, told he that she is just doing that for attention, prescribed some zytrec, and walked out the door. My 10m old daughter had been sick for a few days so finally I started to worry. When I took her temp it was 105.4!! I started freaking out so I called Pecan Creek Pediatric and the told me it was no big deal. They laughed at me when, in my panic, I told them I took her temp with a digital thermometer in her butt. this is the worst place in town to take your babies. you will have to wait at least an hr to be seen, and spend about 3hrs before you leave for a rude harris to come in for 5 min. the nurses there do everything from shots to weight, one of which is very rude, thinks she funny but shes not! front desk is the only good experience i have had here. a visit should be planned atleast 1 mth in advance or your not getting in! and if your child is sick, most of the time there is a 3-4 day wait. i was told last week i would have to wa... read more
