As a physician referral source with over 45 years in healthcare, and also a dedicated patient advocate, I rarely post negative reviews. However, after being sent to Dr. Gilbert Simoni’s office for a FibroScan due to elevated liver enzymes and fatty liver, I encountered a grossly negligent error. The office told me the machine had been calibrated in November 2025, but the results I received indicated a P3 level, dangerously close to cirrhosis. I wish Dr Simoni could be my primary care doctor, optometrist, dentist and yoga instructor!🧘♀️ His kindness and calm demeanor is what we all need. I wish I could give 0 starts. This has been the worst experience ever. I have been in and out of the hospital for abdominal pain and they took me for an appointment the next week. As I was walking into my appointment I get a call from them. And I walk in and they say “oh by the way we don’t take your insurance” with a grin on their face. Giving no help and no direction for what to do next. They are a disgrace to the medical field. Stay away!!!!!
He's a wonderful and caring doctor who was highly recommended to me by my cousin who is one of the head nurses at Los Robles.
Had a bad experience with Dr Simone's front office. His wife is the office manager and his daughter works there too. it is very difficult dealing with family. Dr Simone is probably a good doctor but his front office makes him look bad!
