My interest in orthopedic surgery began when I was an orthopedic patient. While playing football, I suffered a knee injury that required multiple surgeries. I credit the outstanding care of my orthopedic surgeon and physical therapists in my return to sports and in my desire to be an orthopedic surgeon.
