Caveat emptor..."let the buyer beware " especially seniors on Medicare! At 88 and a professional I've had yearly physicals most of my life but now it's called a wellness check! So recently I went in, spoke with my physician and then he innocently asked if he could listen to my heart, lungs. Of course I said yes as most people would. Well a few months later I receive a bill. I saw a Dr here in late 2023. I don't remember his name unfortunately, and it's been changed in my chart to Dr. Martinez. The first Dr. I saw barley even looked at me when speaking to me. told me I was too fat, and "just need to lose weight." the entire appointment I felt he was dismissive and belittling. I requested a different dr for my next visit. This dr told me I HAD to do a treatment I didn't agree with before he would even consider an MRI for the injury I was there for.
