Tried to book an appointment for a biopsy with a GP's referral for potential skin cancer diagnosis. I was told by the brash secretary that it's an eight month wait and that he may not be able to do it even then. No moving up the line with cancellations; nothing. The only thing that was conveyed to me was costs and billing policy. Sorry, I'm not going to encourage bad behaviour and questionable ethics with financial reward. Clearly a very unprofessional "professional." Avoid this specialist like he avoids his patients.
I found Dr. Becker to be very thorough and understanding during both my initial consultation & my follow up appointment. A biopsy was performed by the nurse on site and was a very quick procedure even though I had a slight issue with the numbing process. (No fault of anyone) Reception staff are also lovely!
Very good practice, Estelle runs a tight ship and manages to create a calm and professional environment. Dr. Becker and his wonderful nurse, Debbie, took care of me and made me feel at ease.
Partner has numerous skin conditions and disabilities. Here she is constantly being spoken over the top of, ridiculed and spoken down to for things outside of her control. Becker prescribes steroids and antibiotics every single visit and denies any existence of topical steroids withdrawl as a whole. He refuses to acknowledge a single one of her symptoms or concerns outside of his basic diagnosis. See another specialist.
