Waiting now for an appt. that was supposed to start 40 minutes ago! Every appointment she is late! one time in the office I waited over 1.5 hours for her. I have to see her to get medication refills - want to get off and move on with life away from this psych-medication...

When coming in person or virtual, each visit has started 15-50 minutes late. I have re-explained my family history in the majority of our sessions along with other basic personal info. Dr. Huey begins each appointment by reading near, if not word for word what you said in the previous vist…every word! In that theme, this may be just be me and, I often felt no effort being made to be delicate with sensitive subjects. Dr. Huey is an awesome doctor. She has helped mentally and emotionally. I suffer from depression and immense mental needs for my husband. I also have Narcolepsy sometimes combined with Cataplexy. Her treatment plans continue to amaze me. Don’t look further for the best doctor around. SHE IS THE VERY BEST!

She Doesn't listen to what you're saying, always late. Even skipped a couple of my online sessions (the Physiatrist) And The staff failed to notify me of their "Mistake" the couple of times I've had problems getting into my sessions. I came in for Anxiety Medication and the Physiatrist and her Nurse practitioner both will not listen, (Even if you tell them you're doing fine) They just want to keep increasing dosages and also would not stop pushing mood stabilizers onto me. I have been seeing Dr. Huey for years now. I love her. She is dedicated to her profession. I am very pleased. I trust her positive direction for my well-being, her compassion, honesty and how she has dedicated in helping me to realize I matter. So taking care of my health is very important. I love her personality. Come in crying leave out laughing and believing I can make it. Love, Love, Love her! It took my a while to trust the process. I had a lot going on. ????? #Team Dr. Huey!

Dr. Huey has been a very helpful psychiatrist. I would suggest that her bedside manner might be better suited for patients with either a good sense of self/patient advocacy or at least a strong interest in being fully honest and forward in how the medicines affect them and what they are comfortable with. Recently diagnosed with ADHD, she has been very helpful in working with me on options my ADHD symptoms. I have been going to Dr. Huey for about 5 years. She has been nothing but the best for me. She has genuine caring and compassion for my situation. She really listens to my needs and concerns and does everything to help me. I feel that I have a better quality of life because of Dr. Huey and I will continue to keep her as my physician.
