Dr Gerald Minkowitz is the specialist you will want to see if you are in need of a needle biopsy. I was in need of a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid which has nodules. He is the most knowledgeable Pathologist you can find anywhere and has many years of experience in his field of practice. Dr Minkowitz has a very pleasant demeanor and will explain the procedure, answer your questions and concerns and put you at ease. The office staff are also all very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Dr Geral Minkowitz!
Dr. Minkowitz is amazing. He took his time during the examination and fully explained the process and potential conditions. The procedure was virtually painless. He examined the tissue samples immediately right in the exam room. He is a very caring and genuinely nice person. Do not hesitate to see him. His office staff was excellent as well.

I was terrified to have a thyroid biopsy to evaluate nodules. Dr. Minkowitz’s assistant set the tone with his friendliness as he questioned me about my medical history. He set me at ease. When Dr. Minkowitz started to set up the procedure, his excellent bedside manner continued to reassure me. The procedure itself was only five seconds or so, and in his competent hands was very tolerable.. I highly recommend him.
